Mexican Travels – Manzanillo – A Gateway to Heaven

Manzanillo is located in Colima. Located in Bahia de Santiago (Bay of Good Hope), it has one of the world's best climates, the lowest crime rate in all of Mexico, world-class fishing, whale watching, bird watching, world-class golf, beautiful beaches and the opportunity to live or rest in a world community classes.

Manzanillo was founded as a port city in 1873. In the past year, Vera Cruz Mexico has passed as the largest port, receiving over one million 20ft containers each year. Plantations of banana, coconut, coffee and organic salt are also here in the region. Manzanillo has a population of 130,000, but the city spans two beautiful bays and retains the charm of a small town that makes it a magical place to rest or retire in peace and quiet.

Manzanillo has all the supplies you need. First-class hospitals, healthcare (at a fraction of the cost of the US), affordable dentistry, private Bi and Tri schools, international airports, shopping malls (Wal Mart, Sorianas and others), churches, cinemas, public transportation, high-speed internet services speeds, affordable living costs and more. Americans and Canadians have flown to this area for years. Lightweight lifestyles and cheap living (under $ 1,000.00 per month) are an opportunity that invites us to suffer because of the US economy. We emigrants love the charm and tradition of the Mexican people. There, kindness and generosity will bring a smile to your face. Celebrations and traditions are commonplace and a lot of fun to join.

The Manzanillo economy was a success story here south of the border. With the recent growth of the port industry, a strong middle class and the rise of foreign tourism, the city has flourished in the last three years. Real estate is steadily increasing and the job market is strong. The future of Manzanillo looks bright.

See you in paradise,
